A new division of Casa Buena Builders is taking shape. Andrew Sanchez (our longest serving employee) has spent the last several years learning slate work, acquiring tools and learning the “tricks of the trade”. In the course of our work in Providence and its historic districts we have already completed several projects ranging from things as small as chimney re-flashing to mansard roof replacement complete with arched copper roofs on the dormers and new copper liners for trough (box) gutters. We have recently hired Kurtis Hold, who hails from Kentucky, with 7 plus years of slate work experience, to increase our capacity in this trade.
